HIdden Longing

Constructed from reclaimed cardboard squares suspended on transparent mesh, Hidden Longing explores the shifting nature of memory and perception. Fragments of trees, foliage, flowers, and light move across the grid, emerging into focus before dissolving into abstract patterns. Bright yellows, reds, and blues mingle with darker passages, creating a landscape that feels both vivid and elusive. The repeated squares suggest fleeting glimpses of a familiar place, while the transparent mesh allows space and shadow to become part of the composition. The result is a dreamlike landscape—recognizable yet uncertain, as though a memory is coming into focus even as it slips away.
