Constructed from reclaimed cardboard, Shade develops a shifting grid of layered color and gesture. Repeated square forms create a quiet rhythm while soft washes of light, dark, and muted colors suggest the feeling of dappled shade moving through leaves. Variations within each panel balance structure with spontaneity, allowing the surface to shift between order, atmosphere, and memory.
